HYPNOTIC VIBRATIONS-DJ ONE CHANCE-paintings by ELEFONT

Friday May 29, 2009

9:00pm - 2:00am

CLUB 6 San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO

California

This group from Oakland, CA came together through an idea MC/Vocalist/Producer Ty Hardman had back in 2003. He handled all production, recording, instrumentation, and vocals on the demo tracks, but it was only until a complete band was formed, that the sound became fully realized. Each member in the band is deep rooted in music here in the Bay Area, and once this lineup of the group formed, Hypnotic started quite a stir in the area with their live performances. Live sets include Drummer Steve Pellerin, Vocalist Carmen Pellerin, Keys player Jonathan Veekner, Jon Merker on Bass, Percussionist Mike Demasio, and Shomari Mosey on Sax; bringin' you a smooth blend of Reggae, Soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz and a little something extra. Shows are packed with energy, infectiously dancey grooves that get you bobbin your head and movin your feet, good vibes, plenty of improv just when the time is right, and often speak on current relevant issues that we all face. They are currently working on a live DVD/CD package that was recorded at E'xpression College for Digital Arts, as well as some clubs local to the Bay. It is set to be released in August 2009. In the meantime, come check ‘em at a local get down near YOU! Keep your soul open. Speak from the heart. Not the mind. Peace & Blessings

ARTIST RENEE CASTRO aka LADY RENI : has been working on some new mix media drawings and paintings that she's super excited about. She is playing around with two ideas : Tattoo art and my Native American culture ( Ohlone/Muwekma (from the Bay Area), Texas Kickapoo and Spanish). working on integrating the two…But for now they are two separate concepts. www.ladyreniart.mfbiz.com
